I think it was legit embarrassment. I know I'd be embarrassed. The fact that he was just on the losing end of the most stunning game-winner in the history of the sport after achieving such high accolades would probably do it for me too.

Did anyone else think it was weird AJs family was on the field at the end of the game in the first place?

If it was at Bama I could understand, but on the Auburn field...was strange

Why would he be concerned for his safety after a loss? Serious question.

Because fans could rush the field and that could endanger the safety of the players. Just look at the amount of fans that were pouring onto the field at the 0:42 mark of this video. LINK

And that was just seconds after the game ended. Can you really blame AJ for being worried about his safety with all of that going on?

Well most of the Auburn players chose to celebrate instead of shaking hands. That doesn't make them classless or tpos.

I'm pretty sure it was mostly due to safety reasons. Ingram did the same thing after Bama lost to South Carolina in 2010.

yeah must have been it. couldnt have been he is a little sore loser douchebag.

I mean I guess so. He was the only one they showed on TV sprinting to the locker room like a sore loser though. Was the rest of the team in danger too? Did they run off when he did?
