I have to disagree with your thoughts on AJ Mccarron. Young man had a disappointing game against Oklahoma, but I still believe he is a good QB

Agreed. The Dude can't run to avoid the pass rush (like Nick Marshall), can't throw under pressure (like JFF), Can't make risky but reasonable decisions when the game matters the most, He's NCAA's Tony Romo. He's a good game manager but not even close to elite. Even he's stats are mediocre, except the # of wins, which to me is inflated due to # of Saban's talented recruits in other positions.

No, no - none of that is true. AJ is an outstanding QB. He had no help from his O-Line or blocking backs last night. That was crystal clear. Scouts saw that despite the constant pressure he was under, he didn't lose his head. Now that he no longer plays for Bama - I wish him well in his future.

what?

He turned the ball over in high pressure situations.

McCarron is gonna get drafted. But I think he was exposed last night as far as what kind of QB he is when he's under pressure. McCarron has succeeded because of his ridiculous OL he's had. There's no two ways around that.

This.

AJ is fine. He might have held onto the ball too long a few times last night, but in his defense, the O-line was like a sieve. He was just trying to make a play.

When he came to the sidelines after the 3 and out with around 8 mins left you could see Saban say "AJ what are you doing?".

What did this have to do with Johnny being far and away a better QB?

Because, Johnny may have better stats, but McCarron won a shite ton of games. I mean, come on Aggies, McCarron>JFF, he was 2nd in the Heisman this year!

No QB can perform running for their life because the "4 & 5 star" OL aren't playing up to their potential.

Thanks for your concern though.

The kid is good. Has potential. Is trainable. I see his main problem as attitude/swagger/cockiness. The NFL has a way of bringing him back down to reality real fast.

Hell to the No.

First two rounds, that's funny. I swear to you he played himself out of the 3rd for sure.
