I think McCarron did exactly the correct thing. Jones should have had his arse whipped by the entire team right there on national TV for doing what he did.

I thought I was the only one who thought this. McCarron is the chief out there, and Barrett wasn't snapping the ball.

He seems more likable than Manziel.

JFF has gotten into bar fights, brags about money, sporting tickets, and just has an arrogant nature about him.

Mccarrons biggest flaw is his tattoo(which is dumb, but I don't really care) and getting into twitter battles over his GF. Oh and crying when he wins a game.

The D shifted and Jones had to make another call. Probably Jones' fault for the penalty, but no way the QB should act like that on the field.

Of course he's arrogant. All the truly great QBs are, whether they display it or not.

I look at them like I do fighter pilots (I'm in the Air Force). They walk around all day like they're hot shite, and are usually the cockiest sons of bitches on base hands down. Real pains in the arse to deal with.

But I WANT them to have that attitude when they're flying a multi-million dollar piece of equipment and defending the country. They better feel like they are the baddest thing in the sky, because we're all depending on them to perform.

The same goes for a QB, to a lesser degree. However their attitude rubs people off the field, on the gridiron, I want my QB to be a cocky, confident sonofabitch who's hellbent on winning, no matter what.

Just my $.02

AJ is a good kid, especially off the field. That cannot be said about as many players today as it used to. On the field i admit he can act like kind of a douche. And he does need to just get off twitter.

With that said, I can't believe there is any backlash over jumping on Jones the way he did. The fact that you perceived the game to be over is irrelevant. It was the damn national championship game- at what point are the starters supposed to start screwing around, in your opinion? Those kids were still striving for perfection and that is exactly why they have had success as of late. Also it made more sense if you were already aware of the old married couple nature of their relationship. Again, I loved the fire.

Best post of the day. You're right.

McCarron's still a douche...but he's a badass football douche.

IMO that's what you want in a QB.

We haven't had one in a long time.

It's a requirement for the Alabama Quarterback.

We send out a questionnaire to all QB recruits and the first question is:

1. How much of a douche are you?

A. 100% Full on douche
B. Very douchey
C. Somewhat douchey
D. Not a drop of douche in me.

We don't even consider you if you don't answer with A or B.

Didn't we just have an article highlighting AJ's contributions to a sickly girl?
