“@ClayTravisBGID: 13 of 14 starting QBs in the SEC this year have been knocked out of game or missed starts. AJ McCarron is lone starter to escape injury.”

He was as impressive in the pocket last Saturday as I have ever seen him. Escaped quite a few pocket collapses. He is very instinctual.

It really is impressive what he has done.

He's no Andre Williams but he makes a strong case.

I like this thread.

But during his thirty-eight consecutive starts on an SEC schedule, he's had to play only one half in MANY of them. That's helped him at least to some degree. It has severely hurt his stats, and that's one reason he won't win the Heisman.

Bo Wallace didn't miss a start if I'm not mistaken

Was he knocked out of a game? Or did you not read the OP?

Say what you will about him. I even hate the guy sometimes but he did finish 2nd in the SEC in total passing yards.

Dude threw a 99-yard TD pass on a fricking play action out of his own end zone for the go ahead score late in the 4th quarter against the most hostile crowd imaginable.

Auburn won the game, and they were the better team. Congratulations. You earned our respect. Now you show some respect.

Not only that, AJ's stats in 3 games against Auburn are downright dominant.

I was hoping the thread title was literal. I'm kind of disappointed.

You are an absolute goddamn dumbass if you don't understand the poise and sheer balls it takes to carry out the play action, settle into a pocket, and deliver in that situation.

Isn't it though? The "man" hasn't been broken. 13 other QB's have fallen and he keeps on ticking.
