We "Swamp People" aren't mad at all. Many of us just think it's really kind of silly to pump up about equestrian national titles just like it is silly to get pumped up about archery nc's or other non athletic events. Hell, give the horse the trophy.

Look there are only 19 equestrian teams in the NCAA D1 level. It isn't a major thing. The only athlete in this thing is the damn horse. Sorry if reality offends you. We have gotten to the point in this pansy arse country that we have to treat bullshite like it is important because a handfull of people are interested in some obscure crap. I am still waiting on friggin' soccer to take over the USA. We have been hearing that crap for 30 to 40 years but all I see is little girls and a few boys playing it until the boys get older and go to play football, baseball, or basketball.

It seems that Aggies are the ones desperate to cellebrate something akin to a participation trophy. Equestrian has a total of 19 D1 "teams". So, congrats on having the best horses (athletes).

I am having a great day. I just despise Title IX bullshite which is absolutely a financial drain on Universities. Tennis, Equestrian, Golf, Soccer, even Women's Basketball all exist simply because the NCAA requires Universities to sponsor these "sports" for some equality purpose. Nevermind how much it costs to pay for this bs.

They get more ships than baseball and it is NCAA sanctioned as an emerging NCAA sport.
