Dude old news and yes they were going to make Denbrock the highest paid coordinator in America at around $2 mil/year. The guy is too smart to take that job

So you think we’re bragging because we gave a raise to the guy who produced a Heisman QB and the #1 offense in the country? That’s how the world works baw. Results get rewarded. Except in Aggieland where they’ll extend you for for going 8-4 every year

My understanding is that they had a zoom call with him but ultimately decided he was not our guy. He was one of many zoom calls. He may have actually been in the final 3. I don't think an offer was ever made. He wound up with a well deserved raise out of the deal.

To act like A&M pursuing Denbrock didn't "help" him get an extension is just trolling.
Denbrock has been a successful OC everywhere he has been. Kizer, Golson, Ridder, and now Daniels. He earned his salary.
