There is no better insight into the aggy hivemind/fear that was is currently taking place on this board. They are right now arguing harder for Bama over their dreaded sips for a spot in the playoffs than the Bama fans are.
It’s hilarious and telling. These guys live in fear of Texas, and rightly so.

I honestly believe Bama is better than Texas at this point in the season, but you can't ignore the head to head result.
TX is in, imho. The only question is does CFP drop FSU out and put Bama in at 4. Doubtful, but that is Bama's only path.

I mean it's possible. Alabama is definitely a great team. But the committee has to go off of more deserving not who they think is better. Before the games yesterday everyone thought Oregon was better than Washington. Everyone thought Georgia was better than Alabama. Simply can't be a beauty contest it has to be about results. While I can certainly see the argument of putting in bama over Texas you simply can't ignore the game in Tuscaloosa because, if so, why even play non-conference games?
Truth is both Alabama and Texas should be in over FSU I just don't see them leaving out Florida State. Either Texas or Alabama is going to get shafted.
I definitely think Alabama is one of the four best teams in the country right now.
