Alright, here is my no bullshite take on the whole Bama dick-riding thing:


A&M and Alabama have a very significant piece of shared CFB history--Paul "Bear" Bryant.


The Bear coached The Junction Boys. Later, one of The Junction Boys lead Alabama to a national championship. It's a great College Football story that both Universities share. We both had the privilege of having a legend better our programs.

Then comes the opportunity for the Aggys to move to a better situation and join the same conference and Alabama, and the most vocal Aggy promoting the move to the SEC was the very same Junction Boy that lead Alabama to a NC in 1992.

In our first year in the SEC, the Aggys took the field at BDS for the first time EVER. Two schools have so much shared history, but A&M had never played at BDS, which was criminal in some minds.


Coming to the SEC felt like coming home. Much of that is the long history with Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas. We are VERY thankful that we got a shot at the SEC. We owe you guys and we're happy to open our State to the SEC, as the SEC made room for us.


I know we're assholes on internet boards, because....hey....Aggy.


But, don't take this shite too seriously. Go to a game with our fans. We love having you and love visiting your venues. We are good to our guests and try to be the best guests we can be when we visit. THAT is how we are in real life.

Yeah, we respect Alabama for the program they have built, but don't kid yourselves, or buy into our internet assholitude. We respect LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, State...Hell we respect all SEC programs. We wouldn't have joined the conference if we didn't.







But, for some reason, our respect for Bama gets on some nerves, so:

Notice how all the LSU fans change their team logo to the nutless bovines? What could POSSIBLY be the intent of doing such a thing? It works both ways.



So, with that intent to annoy in mind...


























Look at it this way, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc. fans. We are now brothers...













...in that NOW we all have the SAME DADDY.
