I'm talking about the non-renewals that are snowballing. You had fewer season tickets sold this season than last.
Moreover, not only are they not renewing their seats, they are defaulting on the capital campaign contribution.
Capisce, aggy?

Since we probably can't petition to have this asshat permabanned, our only option is to stop feeding the troll.
Starve the flame. Don't give it oxygen.

There is something bone-deep wrong with you.
When a group of people so easily rattles you ... that's a sure sign that you're "off balance."
Take a deep breath and walk away.

There have only been a few seats "given up" and they are in the cheap seats which had a $25 additional donation toward the Renovation, essentially the Upper North and Upper South in the end zones. All of the money seats are taken and the very few people who have not renewed in those seats have had them picked up by the others who wanted to upgrade. Also, the $25 seats (this was just for the one time renovation donation, different than the annual donation which is also small but the full price for the face value of the seats which is not. The key is the $25 was all that was needed in the budget for the rebuild.
The money that matters is the hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousand dollar one time donations for the suites, the club seats, the sideline seats, and the quality seats in the end zones. Most of that is in the bank already but there are some folks that still have a couple years left on their 5 year commitment. Of course there is a big line behind them if they were to decide not to renew that will gladly take them.
Another fundamental difference you sips don't understand (assuming you actually went there) is demographics. Texas is essentially the same size in terms of students and thus alumni as it was 30 years ago, right around 50k. A&M though has grown from the 30k range in the 80's to 60k+ now. The number of alumni and more importantly the alumni in prime donation age has been growing exponentially for some time. The turnover is light as well because the older alumni, guys like my Dad in '58, went to A&M when there were only 5k students there. A&M literally is turning out 10X the number of grads today as it did then and thus the demand is huge and growing.
