Everything everyone said here. I don't know that I have ever felt more fortunate to have seen the Ags escape with a W. After the 6th TO I had accepted we would lose thinking "you just can't win with 6 TO's" Crazy game with moments of sheer greatness and sheer incompetence.

Should be fun again in Oxford, hope we can win.

First off. 1 goddamn fricking yard
It was more like 4th and an inch. Thank God the Rebs called a play out of shotgun and A&M was able to blow up the play in the backfield. I agree with Freeze's decision for going for it on 4th down deep in his own territory. He wanted to keep the ball out of Manziel's hands.

frick. Secondly, it was a safety.
Nope. Close, but no. Down at the half yard line.

I was watching the game from a roulette table in Shreveport. As the game processed, the drinking was more medicinal in nature. I wanted to numb myself from the pain that was sure to follow. A&M could have folded in that game as we did so many times in 2011. The 3rd and 19 play was incredible--Mike Evans converted the first down on what should have been an interception.

I promise you that there was no louder person in the casino than I when Manziel threw the fade to Swope in the endzone.

Daowna said it all very well.

Crazy game. I was completely disgusted with 6 turnovers. And then BOOM. That 3rd and 19 wasn't a good pass, but was a remarkable catch by Mike Evans. That one play set the stage for the remainder of the season, I think. Those last two drives did a lot for the team's confidence, and they knew then they had the real deal at QB.

The thing that impressed me the most were the fans, though. Great hosts. Walking to our vehicle the conversation went something like:
Me: You know, if this game were in...
Classmate: Lubbock. Yeah, I know.
Me: We'd need...
Classmate: A police escort.
Me: Yeah, except the police were just as frickin' crazy.

We had a great time, and not just because of the crazy and desirable finish. I took 9 old fart classmates last year, it's looking like 20 in 2013. We're very much looking forward to it.

Honestly, I was just pumped. If you had told me the events of the game, I would have told you that we were the loser. A&M winning that type of game was huge! Teams come back against us, not the other way around.

I was bummed that we turned the ball over a lot. I also was worried about how awkward it was when Johnny was standing in the pocket for 11 Mississippis and not throwing the ball. But it was a road win against an SEC team where we beat adversity. I was happy to take it.

If you are sick and tired of all things JFF/A&M, you can thank OM for it.

The 4th Q provided confidence on both sides of the ball that turned that team into a juggernaut.

Also proved -- along with the LSU game 2 weeks later -- that provided we take care of the ball (keep turnovers under 5 or so ) we were probably not going to lose another game in '12.

PS: One more thing that impressed me. I got the distinct impression from Ole Miss fans that they honestly expected to get the SEC 0-fer monkey off their backs in this game. Which when you think about it, takes a lot of chutzpah given the past few years. And the Rebs damn near did it.

Congrats on a very good year.

I still don't know what WAOM means, though. I'm pretty sure it isn't Web Application Optimization and Monitoring.

We moved the ball better then yall all game, we just fumbled and turned it over like what 5-6 times?

That was the one game all year where we played like the old, disappointing aggies, until the last 5 minutes at least.

That game was really the catalyst for our season because we didnt play well but still got the win. We call it the Mississippi Miracle.

Piss drunk at a bar in Denver watching with my girlfriend and the second half is a bit hazy. Woke up the next morning to double check and uttered an "I'll be dipped in dogshit" under my breath. Those who have said that the 3rd and 19 completion to Evans from our own goalline was the turning point of our season are dead on. Watched the full replay sober the following week and could not believe we won.

I was saying "here we go again". then we won and I think it really changed the attitude on this team and it's when we all realized that they would actually come through in the clutch. refreshing for an aggie football fan.

All good responses. WAOM (We Are Ole Miss... meaning we always manage to screw it up somehow.)

I may try and make it to Oxford for a game this season.. meh. Florida to Oxford is kinda a pain when I live near Miami.

WAOM = We Are Ole Miss

Ah! Thanks.

The other impression I got from the game was that "FIRST DOWN! OLLLLLLLLLE MISS" thing got to be really annoying. Probably because Ole Miss was making so many 1st downs.

Don't be a wimp . Freeze has you guys relevant again and you know you want to be there. I'll have classmates coming from Corpus Christi, so you don't get a pass.
