LSU way:

1. Start thread about Aggy (minimum 20 per day)
2. Get upset at Aggy for making LSU look silly in thread
3. Start new (response) thread

As I'm researching the Aggie past, I have a question. How did you manage to go 15-10 in Sherman's last two years?

Statistically you were very good on both sides of the ball, but lost SEVEN games by one score.

Most think it was conditioning, we just had soooo many late game collapses.

His effect on the team’s conditioning was immediately felt as the Aggies reversed their 2011 trend of losing double-digit halftime leads. A&M is 18-2 when leading at halftime in Jackson’s two seasons with the Aggies.

From Larry Jackson's bio from 12thman

Whom did he replace?

The real reason was B12 Refs. They would only call holding on A&M opponents in the 1st half of every game. D was on the field the whole game.

There is no fricking doubt in my mind who was behind it all. He just had no idea how much he was helping us.

You think the B12 refs ignored holding by the Texas OL in an effort to ensure the success of the Longhorns.... and your solution was to join the SEC and play in the same division as Alabama......

Brilliant!

He's referring to our last season after our move to the sec was set in stone

Big 12 refs did do their best to show us the door

You would hope conference officials would have more integrity than that.

But since we're living in the real world, welcome to the REC.

Let's establish something first, LSU isn't going to fall apart without Chavis. Yes, our defense is the cornerstone of our program and the Chief put together a few great ones during his time here, but he was greatly aided by our running game, particularly in his last two years where his defenses weren't producing as we have been accustomed.

Stopped reading at the first sign of an excuse. Glad it took longer than usual though.

tHorror of 2011

Only season near as frustrating in my time following the Ags was 2006. Lost a handful of games by one score then too. A couple within the last 2 minutes iirc.

I can see why you might be a little _efensive about that one. Are there even any scholarship RBs on the roster?

On A&M's roster? Most likely? I don't get the joke. We can run the ball. A&M has had the SEC's leading rusher for a season and we've only been in the league three years. Cool joke I guess?
