It's a corps thing.. so not really understood by most.
I think I heard once it goes: "When the team is in a tight position, the corps make freshman cadets line-up and squeeze their nuts to show they are right there with the team." Check the score in the gif.. A&M up by 3 with a minute to go.
Sounds pretty odd, but if you hadn't noticed that is what the corps is known for.
Freshman hazing has since been 'banned'.. so this stuff doesn't happen anymore.
