Says the guy whose team has been a national also-ran since 1/9/12.

That has beaten A&M (and their Heisman QB) twice during that "also-ran" period.

Do you really want to hang your hat on that?

Just saying.

Doesn't seem like A&M has had a national title since, oh, 1939. My bad.

Also, your team was destroyed in the Cotton Bowl '11 by one of our worst quarterbacks here at LSU named Jordan Jefferson. Hang your hat on that. He's no Johnny Football by a longshot, but he clearly mauled your pathetic Big 12. Don't come into the SEC with high hopes because you will soon realize your A&M team will peak and won't come close to a national title.

Sure. We've lost to better teams than the '12/'13 LSU squads, and we've lost to worse.

Doesn't change the fact that we've enjoyed more pub/press/attention than LSU since the start of the '12 season. We could lose to you again in November, and it wouldn't change a thing. We're a program on the rise, and your program is a wheel-spinning mess.

Thanks for the laughs bro.

Seriously, are you a '56 grad or is this someone near and dear to you? Much props if you are.

Nope. Just a handle on the boards. Graduated about 40 years later.

Cool bro. Graduated (I would guess) about the time a good friend of mine did. He may be year group 94 or 95 (not entirely sure which).

Best of luck in the season.

(but you still have me laughing)

He was probably the one throwing the smuggled-in Abita empties at me during the A&M game at Tiger Stadium in '94. From what I can recall I probably had it coming...

Nah bro. My buddy (LTC MS) is an Aggie to the Corps of his being. Based on your grad date you definitely were at CS at the same time.

Sadly, no. My handle is an homage to the late Gov. Frank White. He represented all of the best attributes humanity had to offer:

1. He was a Texan
2. He was an Aggie
3. He went on to run the state of Arkansas (not a lofty goal, I agree, but the position obviously couldn't be trusted to a hog)
4. He was the last person to beat a Clinton in a general election

Overall, an Aggie to be celebrated.

'13 34-10 LSU, remember that Aggies.

Keep living in the past. Generally, those that do this continue the pattern because there is nothing left. I prefer to be worried about this year. You know, the year where your fans abandoned their team at the first sign of adversity?

LSU fans still have too much French in them.

Arkansas couldn't beat us so they're hoping Bama can. I love the desperation.

I don't get why we always see the endowment drug into football threads (calling this a debate would be giving it too much credit).

Also, why drag us into this? We have our own top 10 match up this weekend to talk about

It's not sillier than Bama claiming that national championship in the 40s.

That, at least, has something to do with football ;p

Discussing endowment in relation to football is like going to a big d*** contest, but strapping on a prosthetic first.

Got damn yall are so fricking weird.

Went .500 in conference last year, didn't finish higher than 3rd in the division with your best player ever, yet seem to think yall have been this unstoppable force since joining the league.

A penalty hardly ever called keeps Arkansas from going up 3 touchdowns on yalls arse, yet A&M "stuffed" Arkansas ala the '85 Bears.

It's so funny seeing the transition from agressive, cocky, chest-pumping "Texan" to congenial, neighborly Aggie once the losses inevitably come.
