I'm sure, whoever he is, is just as talented and would be an all-American and belitnikoff winner at any other school. At least according to the Ags.

I know this is a common response in this place but it's kind of irrelevant here. I didn't make any insults towards anyone. Pointing out something that aTm fans have a propensity to do doesn't make me mad.

Let's see, what do we have to choose from?

Do we use one of these at WR?

24 catches, 258 yards, 1 TD
11 catches, 177 yards, 3 TD
10 catches, 169 yards, 2 TD
13 catches, 154 yards, 3 TD
5 catches, 107 yards, 1 TD

Or do we use Trey Williams at punt returner, who has almost 3,000 all-purpose yards for his career?

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have Noil's 300+ APY, but we can beat SMU without him.

Sumlin says reports about Speedy are wrong. He is out for SMU but he will update next week.

Best news is Zaycoven Henderson is ok and will play this weekend.

The grind must be getting to me. Either that or the hemorrhoids are flaring. Same difference really.

According to LSU it is no big loss. Louisiana produces hundreds of Speedy Noils each year. Not that their offense can get those guys the ball...but still.

Those people are stupid. Noil is an incredible talent, but I do think he would have been wasted at LSU.

I've said before and will continue to do so, he made the right choice going to aTm and I'm glad he did because I think Dupre is a better fit for the offense LSU runs.

My fat arse could fill in for Speedy against SMU and we'd still win by 30 points. He's out for one game against a team whose coach quit two games into the season.

Yep. Speedy was targeted more in his very first game then LSU would've thrown to him in 6 games.

@billyliucci: On status of Speedy Noil, @CoachSumlin says "Speedy probably won't play this weekend." Says some of the reports are completely false.

The kid is out for one game against horrible competition. Who cares?

Don't need Speedy against SMU... hell, won't need the starters at all after the first quarter probably. Would like to think Speedy will be back by Arkansas, but probably the week after.

Pope has been damned impressive in his own right so far this year. I don't want to see Speedy rush back, because we will need him in the second half of the year.

Better news is that Zaycoven Henderson will be back next weekend, along with Cam Clear and Mastro (the MLB)

If Mastro is hurt for any period of time, the defense REALLY suffers. We just don't have the depth yet in the front seven.
