I find myself pulling for LSU a lot here lately. Mostly because of Miles. I think he is a good coach and an even better person. I also don't mind seeing State having success and it was awesome watching them slap auburn around.
i don't care much for the Bama fan base, but yall get a bad rap and bad draw. It's because majority of the fans most people come across are the type that has never taken a 3 hour course in their life and haven't ever stepped foot in BDS... Those types give the actual educated (in life and in football) fans that have spent time in T-Town for school and that ACTUALLY follow the team and not just a Saban dick sloberer the only knows who the qb and star reciever is year in and year out. Yall just have a real abundance of those fricked up fans and I've noticed this way back in the early 90's when I started getting into college football as a pre-teen/teen.

I don't mind State cause they are in the phase we we're in during the early 2000s. They aren't entitled yet so they are just enjoying the run. That said, I don't think it lasts long term after this season
i agree. Probably won't ne long term. They don't have the top notch recruiting for them to be able to reload like the top tier year in year out programs, altho with years like that this could change.

I remember reading an article once how they were talking about how coaches (mostly saban) was saying how LSU was just a sleeping giant ready to be awaken, sorta like USA in ww2. We had EVERYTHING to turn into a power house. The article said that there isn't too many schools like that anymore that haven't come out and been brought to prominence already but one of the schools that they named was State. Saying they are really in a ripe recruiting ground, in the SEC which in itself can help draw recruits. Also the state of MS has some great community college players that could be mined and cherry picked over every year that could actually get you some solid recruits to fill holes with players that are already a little more seasoned. Could help with the transition years you have at places like State that just can't recruit on the LSU/Bam/AUB/UGA/UF level year in year out.....

But I agree I would love to see State start making the move LSU started making around 1998ish on

that shite is sorta dumb.....
It's like the 2 guys I knew at LSU (from Shrevetexas and one from Natchitoches that their favorite NFL team every week was who the Saints were playing .... fricking losers...

There has to be a team you like waiting for the scroll bar to get to their name and see if they pulled a win or not???

This a nice little koombaya circle jerk in here, everybody bein nice and all

I would say State for me as well because my grandfather pitched for them so I went to a shiteton of baseball games there growing up. Always love the people and down to earth atmosphere of Starkvegas. Was present for many many games during the end of the Sherrell era and the Croom days so it's really cool seeing them have such a great season after what they've been through before Mullen. Go Dak....but not on 11/15

Being from Knoxville, I love seeing UT down, but it's also my hometown so I cheer for them when the outcome doesn't effect UGA negatively

Frankly I wouldn't mind any of those teams winning the SEC just to mix things up a bit

I like to see Auburn win. My sister and my best friend graduated from Auburn. I've been to a couple games and got to tour their facilities a couple years ago with my highschool football team.

I'm supposed to hate LSU, but I don't. I like their style of football and Miles cracks me up.

And I currently like Arkansas a bit for their new style as well. Hard for me not to like an old school rushing offense.

Of course, if Alabama loses to them - then screw them.
