After the last 3 weeks, do LSU fans still see Herman as better than Coach O...?

Herman has the job locked up. His team magically started tanking the moment Les was fired.

Herman will either be at LSU or Texas next year. I hope it's LSU.
O has beaten Southern Miss, Missouri, and now a 4 loss team. Nice but not that impressive either

Herman has obviously already verbally accepted the Texas job. Dude has totally checked out mentally.

So far, he has done exactly what has been needed. Manage the program and let your job specific coaches do what you hired them for. Paying those folks for a specific purpose, if you dont trust them then replace them.

CEO is a great motivator and seems to be holding players accountable for their actions. Thats what LSU needs right now.

Herman may be better but we know what is in front of us at the moment and he will be a gamble at some level along with any other coach being looked at.

I think if CEO can keep these guys motivated and fighting throughout the remaining games, win or lose, give him the spot for at least another year.

You're an idiot then

Coach O has made it adamant his job is keeping the guys motivated and keeping the energy level up. Arranda and SteveE are doing everything scheme wise.

Herman is arguably one of the brightest young offensive minds in CFB.

When I was in my early thirties I was AD/Head football at a small school in North Texas. We were hosting a JV Basketball tournament and I was watching from the stands. One of the teams seemed to just play a little harder than the rest and watching their coach work was impressive. He had something special. I am not always right but that time I was. The Coach was Chad Morris and in a few years people will laugh when they think of how many big time programs passed him up before he gets a big time job. Last night was just a glimpse.

If he's checked out cause he has something different it's cost him a lot of money. He needed a bidding war to get him up there. Now whomever it is that has him sealed up (is utx or lsu) is going to get him at regular price.

Chad Morris will be on the top 5 non-power 5 coaches to watch over the next few yrs though. A school like mizzou would be smart to pick him up sooner perhaps.

This one certainly doesn't. The CEO needs to be the next HC at LSU.

Think about it, LSU is setting records in games under coach O. We know that O can coach, recruit and maintain a program. He's a Cajun so the folks will love him. This guy was built to be HC at LSU.

I saw the man confident all night last night and didn't over react whether it was positive or negative. He's definitely a changed man as a coach and person. He's whipping teams that have whipped Miles. He's learned a lot apparently and is implying all the positives to this LSU team. Hope the young LSU stars come visit for bama week to bring real inspiration and confidence to these guys. Maybe it can help to clean up the mistakes and have them playing even more solid the entire game. We'll see but I'm confident and I'm sure they are confident that this game coming up will be a real war and LSU will be ready for it. If Bama come in cocky and self absorbed like their fans are they will beat.
