Who's denying your team has improved each season? I think you are confusing comments of jumping to a top 15 school and improvements just a little. OK a lot, but then you arky folks tend to take big leaps with no solid place to land.

You will have more success with your workouts than your top 15 claim.

Rky Mtn Tiger...

while I agree top 15 may be a bit much. I don't think it too much of a stretch. Within the top 20 at the end of the season for sure. barring any bad injuries.

We are on the move and it will show this year for sure.

I love the model of football we are building on. Just watch brah!

I can stretch myself to possibly agree to top 20.

Look, I think Hogs will look good this year and it is possible to finish in top 15 if all goes well. However, it seems that some, not all, Arky fans don't consider that the other teams in the West have also made moves to improve their teams as well.

Key will be which teams actually take advantage of those improvements and also schedules will play a role.

I get it man...

I have looked extensively at the west this off season, spring games, stats, talking heads, etc.

My predictions...

Miss State will falter
as will Ole Miss
as will LSU
and ATM

I believe my Hogs will defeat all 4, now on to Auburn and Bammy. If we had Bammy at home again, it would be a blast and I think we win it. Cant believe they won last season. Auburn, I am counting as a probable loss this year because of depth etc. Aubbie is Stacked and the coach isn't too bad either Cant stand him personally, but dang good coach!

So, 3rd in the west if we play as capable and without major injuries. We beat Mizzou this year at home as well... Not sure about tenner, haven't a clue what to make of the showman Jones and his comrades

Im pumped about this team...defense should be solid and I think Allen will have a nice senior showing. But once again our schedule sucks, like everyone's does in the west. If you actually sit down and look at our schedule there are just so many questions. This season could truly go either direction.

Pat Dye loves us after our spring game too

Brandon Allen (above) was impressive at quarterback in the Arkansas spring game.

After watching the Arkansas spring game over the weekend it looks like the Razorbacks are going to be an improved football team. Auburn’s road trip to Fayetteville in late October looks like it is going to be a real challenging one.

quote:

One of the reasons I believe Arkansas is going to be improved is that it looks like quarterback Brandon Allen has taken a major step forward. He threw three touchdown passes while playing just a half on Saturday and looked very sharp doing it. To me he has looked the closest to Auburn’s Jeremy Johnson of any of the SEC quarterbacks I have watched in spring games.
Arkansas did not play its top two running backs, Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams, but one of the players who stood out was another running back, Kody Walker. He is a load at around 250 pounds and rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns in the spring game.
It looks to me like the team is three-deep at the running back position. The Razorbacks also have two big, good-looking tight ends and a couple of wideouts who can make plays.
I was also impressed with the way the defense moved around and did things in a hard-nosed, physical scrimmage. It wasn’t one of those scrimmages where people were reaching and grabbing or laying around.
With its play-action passing game this year’s Arkansas team is going to be a handful offensively and if the team comes back as good on defense as it was late in the season last year, Arkansas is going to give some folks some problems. Don’t be surprised if the Razorbacks are there in the SEC race at the end of the season. That is a tough-looking bunch of kids and there is no doubt the head coach’s personality is all over that football team.
