Wishful thinking by some of your Auburn brethren.

I doubt he gets fired if he only loses those 3 games. If he loses 6+ games, maybe, but even then, probably not.

Because I work with a bunch of those fans every day and all they do every single year is beat their chest while slamming the likes of Auburn, FSU and whoever else is winning...while year after year they don't really do anything of note. They are jealous to begin the season and unsatisfied at the end. Year after year. That is why these threads are started at this time of the year...Year after year. Win something of relevance, or shut up.

What I hate about this statement is you're right. What I love about it...is we usually beat Auburn and it's so routine that it isn't worth shite.

Good post. You can beat Auburn all you want. We have seen our team lose many times before. But we have also lifted a couple of trophies along the way. And lifting those trophies really changed your whole mentality as both a football team AND a fan base. It invigorates passion...something UGA has lacked for many, many years. And we look forward to Atlanta this December when we will lift one, yet again, while The University of Georgia sits at home and watches in discontent.
