Spent most of the game being blocked by multiple players as well, 2 on 1's , chips. This and rolling the QB away from Clowney. Michigan OT didn't "handle" Clowney.

I don't think enough has been said about the ref. How does that guy still have a job? What if Michigan had gone on from that bogus 1st down and scored? I don't normally pick on refs and figure it usually all works out, but that was beyond awful and obviously awful for a national TV audience to see. Who the hell was that guy and how does he (assuming he does) still have a job?
I was watching with my son. We both leaped out of our chairs and yelled on reflex, though neither of us particularly cares about USC. That was an historically big hit.
The other thing: a few 'Bama fans in this thread are making me think LSU fans are not totally insane, and that can't be right. Clowney would have done better at 'Bama??? How? I expect him to be a Heisman favorite next year. Whenever he leaves USC he'll be a 1st round pick, no doubt.
