That's hartwell. Keowee is just north of hartwell and is a beautiful, very clear, lake.

LSU is a 14 hour party you may or may not remember the next day.

Why has Clemson been ranked top party school in country in the past then?

you are conflating more bars with parties.

I think your definition of 'things to do' is pretty limited to shopping and more bars. lol

the pics I've seen of downtown auburn looked similar to Clemson's downtown.

Clemson has a campus golf course and a lake nearby but mountains nearby. plenty of things to do

Because whatever poll you got that info from is just as much bullshite as the OP.

I graduated from both schools. When it comes to football, LSU is on a totally different level. I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you, but it's the truth.

i'm skeptical of your claim you went to Clemson.

What historic dorms were torn down at Clemson in last 15 years?

the poll has two SEC schools in it. Not ACC or Clemson specific. feel free to disagree with it.

Now you're completely full of shite.

If you're truly a Clemson student, fan, resident, etc. You are well aware of the dirty red clay that contains that piss tank called hartwell.

Keowee and Jocasse are the gems.

Don't care.

Care even less. Lived in Seneca, didn't do dorms.

you don't see the red clay unless there is a drought, clay is hard, it is not floating in the water, etc

The pics you see online for Auburn only show one portion of College Street that shows Toomers Drugs. And no, my definition is not limited to just bars and retail- though on an entertainment district, that's what you expect. The Auburn-Opelika area has a major 81-course golf course. Sorry, I was unimpressed with Clemson. You guys shouldn't compare yourselvs to Auburn. They're better.

Edit- sorry, I think their RTJ Golf trail is 54 holes. Someone correct me on this

hartwell is right next to those two and has several marinas on it and more people on it typically. the water is not clear but it isn't a mudhole as you are describing.

I never compared Clemson to Auburn other than the main streets look somewhat similar although their straight is 4 lanes I believe.

Just stop.

I was there for the massive drought in '08. You could see the old bridge across the lake from the rowing center. Red as hell then.

I was also there when she was full to the tip in '12. Red as hell then as well.

The only parts of the lake that are not as red are the Tugaloo river parts in GA. I bass fished the shite out of Hartwell for 4 years.
