I thought Michigan and LSU fans were delusional, man they have nothing on the Longhorns. They seriously think they can get Musselman, Oats, or Lloyd.
Apparently every coach wants to live in the paradise that is Austin, Texas.

I think all those would go to Texas. And I hate the Longhorns.
Now if they talk Jay Wright, then they got my attention.

Oats would leave in a second. The other two are at top 15ish basketball jobs.

No, but it will only be a matter of time before they release him.

Many names are being thrown around by their fans but Musselman seems to be at the top of their wish list. My guess is they will offer him, Stevens, Oats, and maybe Donovan and if that fails, make a safe hire to pull them through this crisis.

I cannot see him leaving Arkansas but Texas will throw the bank at him. They have a lot to offer in this new NIL era. It will be interesting to see who they hire.

Penny Hardaway is someone to watch for. He has been average at Memphis but he has charisma and can recruit.

Considering what just transpired, I'd be happy with a coach who wouldn't get arrested for strangling his fiancée...

...allegedly.

Make Musselman say no. At the very least we force Arkansas to pay him more money.

Oats likely jumps if offered. Don't know much about Lloyd but Arizona is probably on par with Arkansas as a program.

Musselman not so sure but Oats would leave in a hot second now that Bama has shown him they aren’t going to invest in facilities for him.

Texas basketball has a pretty high opinion of itself.

What is better about that job than Arkansas or Alabama? Portal make recruiting footprint less important nowadays. Both schools have deep pockets, not a Texas deep they can write a pretty big check.

Leave it to a loudmouth damned yankee to come on here running his mouth on the same day the rest of the forum has been peaceable and in a somber state over the passing of a legendary head coach.

Texas is a better basketball job than Alabama, but not Arkansas
