What's your thought? I know anything is a downgrade, are you surprised this wasn't already locked up? Think this is all chatter for a done deal that will come out of left field?

I mean just getting my opinion from media people I trust who actually know coaches and the process, im not surprised at all. Jimmy Sexton has become this all knowing boogie man...but in reality he represents all these guys and hes trying to get everyone raises and extensions. Once Bama hires a coach, the leverage is done so he is gonna drag it out as long as he can.
Id guess Deboer is the most likely, but there are plenty of good coaches out there that would do fine at Alabama if he goes NFL instead. I think talk of 30ish year old coordinators is ridiculous.
