My time following college sports is likely coming to an end. It's basically a minor league at this point with free agency. It's just made me lose interest.

Not sure it matters in their league where they have one decent team.

It will be a domino to other leagues.

Yep. Dabo gonna take every high-profile transfer he can get.

Are the same players able to do this multiple times?

IDK, their press release isn’t very specific, and only notes the details of the old rule.

Change schools by the week next?
"Florida's TE may have suffered turf toe in the game sat. sorry coach, I'm transferring"

This is the type of rule that will eventually destroy college sports.
So Wake Forest finds a diamond in the rough recruit that turns out to be a stud freshman in the ACC, and then Duke basically says, "Thank you very much" and steals him away.
This will decrease parity within the sport.

I see it as having the opposite effect. Dabo's use of the transfer portal has been almost nonexistent, but Clemson has lost many to it. Unless Dabo changes his position on the portal, I see it as a chance for the lesser ACC programs to upgrade from Clemson's transfers, rather than the other way around.

Agreed. Will be open season for the haves against the have nots.
It’s like administrators have no idea what makes college fans college fans and not pro fans.
Guys like dak Prescott will be poached.

It was already hard to keep 2 good QB's on a roster but this will make it impossible if all conferences approve.

Nah. Probably more likely to lose more good players seeking more playing time.

Tell that to the guy who waits three years to start only to get jumped by a transfer or a 5* freshman that isn’t ready but starts because the coach doesn’t want to lose a 5*.
People never want to talk about all the dudes who have their career end in the portal either.
