If Mississippi St beat Ole Miss, do you guys think the committee would of put them in the playoffs?

I don't think the committee would of done it even considering the strength of the SEC West.

1) Weak OOC schedule
2) Not a conference Champion
3) Money (Mississippi is not a huge draw) ESPN runs college football

I bet if Auburn or LSU had only 1 loss they would have a rematch set up with Bama.

OOC is overrated. Should be overall SOS. State played plenty of tough games.

No. They wouldn't have played this weekend while Ohio State was beating Wisconsin 59-0, TCU was rolling and Baylor was beating Kansas State. They would have dropped to 7 even if they had won.

Ask the Cotton, Compass and Music City bowls about Ole Miss. We sold out every one of those games and drank the stadium dry in every game. They literally ran out of beer at the Cotton Bowl and Jerry World in 08-09 and the Compass Bowl ran out of concessions altogether. So no. It's not a money issue when Ole Miss makes a bowl.

Not really. They only played five teams with winning records. They had by far the weakest schedule in the SECw, both in-conference and OOC.

Weren't you supposed to be banned or was that a different FSU fan? Something about recruiting in last year's cycle.

No and that's not a knock on State. Everyone could see this swerve coming when OSU beat Sparty

I think we'd be playing GT in the Orange Bowl, either way.

No. We still would have gotten the Orange Bowl after OSU jumped us.

Which makes losing the Egg Bowl sting a little less at least
