ABC 17 News expects 30,000 UGA fans

I read "out of town" fans, not UGA fans. I'm positive that every SEC town gets more than 30,000 "out of town" fans for every home game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that there will be a lot of UGA fans there, but not more than 30,000.

For the illiterate Georgia fans. From that article..

"Columbia police are expecting at least 30,000 out-of-town fans and hotels in the area are already booked."

That includes Mizzou fans from St. Louis, Kansas City, and other parts of the state.

These Georgia fans attempts to make it seem like they are flooding the area reminds me the pathetic lies coming from KU in 2007 before the game at Arrowhead. They said they had bought 70% of the tickets, but come game day it was more like 65/35 in favor of Mizzou.

Who said all of our fans have tickets? The ones that don't will be outside tailgating. You have yet to see SEC fans travel. We took over Tempe in 2008.

Does any UGA Fans think Marshall gets some carries this weekend or is it all Gurley?

They have been battling for the starting position. All three will get carries.

You seem to be really upset about this for some reason. Understand that you're not in the big 12 and we travel more than you may think. Forget how Oklahoma, Texas, and your big brother Kansas travelled. We travel better. LSU, Bama, UT, USC, and UGA all travel better than any team you've hosted I can promise you that.

Dawgfan- should I start Marshall over Michael Ford in my fantasy team?

I think Marshall will get more carries than Ford this weekend

I think people are just pointing out how hyperbolic the statement was.

Im glad to see all of the UGA fans come to Colombia and hope to tailgate with many tomorrow.
