You have a great team, and you need to win one college football game against an evenly matched opponent with a great defense.
Which of these UGA thoroughbreds do you pick to lead you to that victory?
David Greene, right?

Personally, I would rather have Murray.

1. Who gives a crap?
2. None of them. Greene if no other options because he actually won the SEC. But give me McCarron, Coker or Tebow. Actual national championship winners.

I keep thinking back to that SECCG against Bama, when he just couldn't get it done.

Thank you for participating.

No.

I bet you are dumb enough to pick Dilfer over Marino or Weinke over Peyton Manning.

You were one of the first to post a reply so apparently you do.

That one will always sting. Without that one tipped pass, his legacy could have been changed completely.

One game playing with inferior talent is holding you back?

I'm no UGA fan, so I don't remember how good/bad that team was, but I thought they were a pretty good team. Seems like they were the UGA team that everybody expected to finally break through to the next level.

I would have to know more about the offense to make a final decision. If we are a run heavy offense that that relies almost totally on the RBs and FB to gain yards and passes simply to keep the defense honest or to set up the run, then it's David Greene in a landslide.

They were pretty damn good but they lacked the depth to keep up. The insane amount of rushing yards was a testament to our lack of depth and Bama's talent.

What? He lead Georgia down the field broken, battered and disbelieving. If an all American doesnt make an All American caliber play when Bama needs it the most, Georgia is the National Champion.

Yeah, I get that. Murray was tough. Hell, he might be the best.
Stafford is the only one that has done or is doing anything in the NFL, so it's funny/surprising that no one is choosing him.
ETA: By the way, good to see you posting again. #USP

To answer the OP.
I would rather have Stafford. The down fall of the 2008 team was not Stafford or the offense. It was that BFFCWM couldnt stop anyone.

Some knowledgeable Ole Miss fans in this thread.
Could y'all teach mizzou fans how to talk about CFB please?

There was so much swag in that pic from the USP game a few weeks ago. Unmeasurable swag

Aaron Murray.
The tipped pass aside- He lead the team to within 5 yards of a national title. No small feat with Richt standing on the sideline.
Also the entire 2013 campaign he put his balls on the line every weekend just to win in his final season. The USC, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, and Kentucky games all stand out to me. People may call him a choke artist or a pussy, but that boy could ball.

I think Richt and Bobo coached his legs away from him too. I don't think they really wanted him leaving the pocket.

The GAM run he had against UT was something to see.
