I am not dickriding Alabama at all.

A dumbass LSU fan made this thread and I'm just wondering what are LSU fans talking shite for when their program hasn't accomplished anything since 2007 (blah blah 2011 blah blah).

But you're fine with the other thread towards LSU I take it.

As a founding member; I wouldn't know.

The only one I know of who won during their first five years was/is Mizzou.
Obviously--once upon a time--some other SEC teams won titles during the nascent stages of the conference's inception.

So who were they/which SEC teams won the conference during its first five years of existence?
I'm assuming that's the point the OP is attempting to make--that unless a team wins the conf during its first five years, they're a disgrace?

Um, when exactly do you think this decade began? 2012?

I'm not saying you guys are a disgrace. Not at all. I actually take up for you guys when other conferences (OU & UT) frick with y'all.

You see I can beat up my little brother; but no one else can. It will take a while for you to sit at the big table.

Until then. Show respect; Kiss my ring.

Arkansas won the west in 1995. They joined in 1992. But by all means, compare yourself to South Carolina's football program if it makes you feel better

No, I was wondering which programs the OP considers legit, since his metric appears to be did your team win the SEC championship during your first five years in the league?

These are the teams who managed that feat:

Well you mentioned Missouri, and they only won a divisional title. Arkansas also won an NCAA title in basketball in 1994 and were runners up in 1995.

The op specifically says "sec west titles" thus making divisional championships a metric op considered valid to his point

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned Missouri?
I didn't think to look at hoops history, since the OP wants to know what Texas A&M's football problem is.
Regardless, very few teams have achieved that which he expects Texas A&M to have accomplished sooner than most of the other conf members.

You have all the talent in the world yet get repeatedly embarrassed by Arkansas.

Nice reach with the Arkansas mention. You forgot to include how A&M got smoked by Auburn and Louisville. The five straight uncontested steam-rollings by LSU has already been mentioned, so that goes without saying.

The state of TX has as many Power 5 football programs as the states of AL, LA, and MS put together.

So you're claiming the moral victories? Nice.

Congratulations on sort of giving LSU somewhat of a contest during the last five trouncings. It's going to be six straight after next season, so you may as well claim that one also.
