this would be an awesome bowl. ANd hell yeah i would be pulling for A&M. A nice beatdown would just confirm everything that was down in the offseason.

Texas fans would meltdown and the SEC would just look even greater.

I dont know how bowl invitations work, but could UT decline an invitation to the Cotton Bowl if they knew they would play against A&M? Then just play in a lesser bowl? Everyone in the CFB world would think of them as bitches if they did.

I thought they were going to boycott A&M in all sports? I dont know how serious they were about that, maybe an a&m fan would know more.

If they decline the cotton bowl invite, then they cant accept any other invite i believe. So in that situation, they would either play us or not play in any bowl this year

The rules for the bevo 12 are the same now as when we were there... no team can turn down a bowl invite.

Now will the cotton bowl do that? No idea, but we would kill them.

Would prefer this game happen after Aggies are fully established into the SEC after a few years, but I would be perfectly fine watching that slaughter.

You can bet that the powers that be at the Cotton Bowl would do everything in their power to make it happen...

Huge difference between refusing to schedule them for regular season games and refusing to play them in a bowl game. If Texas turned down that bowl invitation, they would never, ever live it down in the CFB world. At that point, they would have no choice.

As I said... tu can't turn down the invite if its given.

I'm sure they would want to do that but they would be forced.

It is about a potential bowl opponent.
Get this weak shite out of here.

A&M vs tu

Not if you don't cut out that "tu" garbage. Just end that already. It makes Aggies look like they have an inferiority complex. It would be different if Texas hadn't dominated the Aggies lifetime in every way. But they did - so it makes you look silly and jealous. Please stop and things will go better for Aggies.

I have lived in Dallas for 25 years and I know a ton of Aggies and a ton of Longhorns. It does not piss them off. They laugh at Aggies when you do these sorts of things. They take it as if you are obsessed with them - which sadly I think the Aggies are. And in a creepy, stalking the girl that won't go out with you sort of way.

the same way we laugh off "aggy" or "milk man". i dont think any nickname that one fan base has towards another actually insults them. most people arent that thin skinned
