I agree with you that it shouldn't be a big deal but it probably will be a big deal. Some bleeding Lib is going to cause such a ruckus over it, that due to pressure the name will have to be changed.

LSU/A&M is a natural rivalry (that already exists, just needs to be rekindled) between border states who have a lot of alums in the same cities (Houston and Dallas).

Sorry but most people will never look at LSU as A&Ms rival. I assume most will see it as another Arkansas/LSU series. A&M will forever be known Texas's rival, and rightfully so.
For the Ark/Miz rivalry name I'm not sure. Something concerning the Ozarks maybe? White River Rivalry haha

It might be a matter of time till we start playing regularly again, but it isnt going to be anytime soon.
So for now, its irrelevant. No reason A&M and LSU shouldn't have a game during the "rivalry week" of college football.
