I would eat at an Awful Waffle long before I would eat at McDonalds or most other fast food crap.

Meh. The only time that I eat fast food is when we're on the road and it's convenient. That's being said, I'll take Wendy's over WH any day of the week.

Tuscaloosa has five, including the one on The Strip that opened a couple of years ago. I have never been there, but it looked nice like the one in Fayetteville.
I have also never eaten at a Waffle House sober. So, there's that too.
