Multiple national awards and got his teams to the CWS. Is it him or maybe the A&M way....

I don't have anything against Yeskie, but we had major control problems last year, so I didn't mind the change. Sometimes you just need to hear it from a new voice.

The sole reason for what little relevance A&M had in baseball 2 seasons ago, who is now another cog in the big LSU machine.

I don't know what this means. Legit asking a question. It's shite competition this week, but Yeski has a lot to work with our staff. Just wondering what the hang up was that made yall hate him so much

Yeskie thought he was bigger than the team. He and Schloss didn’t see eye to eye, and that is bad for team chemistry.

Don’t know if we disliked him. Our pitching struggled last year. We needed a change. Long way to go this season but opening weekend results have been good with our new pitching coach. A lot more strikes being thrown.

Old school guy that didn’t want to use analytics. Look where A&M went with his replacement. Didn’t really develop the guys like expected.

We’ve allowed a lot of runs. We won 2-0 yesterday so I didn’t really know what you meant by nil. Seem super defensive.

1 run across 3 games is impressive no matter who the competition is. Mcneese is a solid Louisiana team usually as well. Probably better competition than we had this weekend

Today's starter, J. Coleman, just said that he finds Yeski to be a good 50/50 mix of old school & new...analytics...school but is a "really great communicator". CJJ has said that there is a good reason that he's been my pitching coach at my last 2 positions, here at LSU & Arizona. "We are the perfect mix of HC & PC".

It's the retarded way of every college fanbase who almost always hate their football coordinators and baseball hitting and pitching coaches. LSU fans--on here anyway--turned on Dave Aranda and wanted to run him out of town in '19. Hated all of Paul's hitting coaches. Hell, a bunch on here hated Wes Johnson for a good part of last season. Fans are retards. And as a fan of LSU, I wouldn't be so quick to poke fun at A&M fans for hating on Yeskie. There will 100% be a time this year that LSU fans feel the same way about him. We are no better and this thread fricking sucks.

I'm not going to put down Yeski as sometime programs just need a change. We are very optimistic about the up and comer that replaced him as I've heard very positive reviews to this point. Good luck to LSU.

I’m not poking fun. I’m legit asking a question. I’m wondering if our new pitching coach is going to handicap us late in the season.
