Dude are you serious?
LSU frigged up its home schedule the last two years to play in ATL and Arlington. Marquee matchups. You think that was bad for the program?
I'm sure Arky is thinking the same. Keep raking them over the coals. Your program did the same friggin thing.

Wow, look someones mad that the Razorbacks are becoming a premier football program, again. I trust Bobby Petrino and his desire to have a game at that stadium. It is good for exposure and good for our team. It is the preseason what does it matter? teams really should want to play us there more than Razorback stadium.

Maybe yall can relocate all of your athletics to Arlington and use the Rangers stadium for your baseball games. That ought to help with baseball recruits.
Naw,we are just going to Annex that portion of Texass when it leaves the Union in the next couple of years. We will then cut 1 game from L.R. and set up that game up in Dallas in an arrangement like we have in L.R. We will add a few baseball games and basketball games in the area as well.

Exactly.....trying to find a legit non conference opponent to play you in Dallas> Sun Belt, WAC school, etc.... Plus you get PAID and get a potential prime time ABC game rather than an ESPN3 or SEC Network channel game.

This.
It really shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

It apparently is. As seen by recent conference expansion it has shown college football is MONEY based sport. No one can argue otherwise. Arkansas wants to keep playing it's game in Jerry World and keep getting that fat pay check that it's getting by playing a legit out of conference team rather than have to PAY SOMEONE ELSE to come to Fayetteville...

I think the projections for the "get PAID" were about $5mil for each but the reality was about $3mil. aTm would certainly do better than that at home.

Add on we are playing the game in Arky Alum Jerry Jones Razorback Stadium West and it is a given.

True, but remember, each team gets paid every year in Jerry World. Home and Home, it's every other year.

Kyle Field home game they would make about $7~8mil. that is better than $3mil.

How many fans yall gonna bring to Fayetteville?

Again. Fayetteville is not that far from Dallas. You have a presence in the city with so much alumni. You're in the premier conference in the nation. You really think that it takes a game in Dallas to "sway" recruits? Really? You may Want to play in Dallas, but you don't Need to play in Dallas. At least not for recruiting. You may enjoy the stage, but this year's game wasn't a big hit nationally because of so many other key matchups that weekend. Howabout yall just cancel your home games in Fayetteville and petition to have them all in Arlington, TX since it is so vital to your recruiting and Jerry Jones owns your program. That should make your student body, community, and season ticket holders happy.
WTF is this? You don't think kids from DFW take into account playing an annual game in Jerry World into consideration?

Counting Expenses? Field Care, Electricity, Employee payment, every other year..( They are making less than projected at Jerrys World because they haven't been selling as much tickets as projected.)

A&M was paid $4.2 million for the first game, a figure that dropped to $2.9 million for the 2010 game. The numbers for the 2011 game were not yet available, and the Razorbacks’ take for the first two games was not listed.

Lets assume the gate at Kyle is $8.5 mil with $1.5mil expenses. That leaves $7mil
At JW lets say $3.5mil with $0.5mil expenses (hotels, food, travel for team and supporting cast)
Home and home stil leave them ahead in the pay.
If the projected $5mil was hit then JW would be the better option. Better even if only $4mil due to the media atmosphere and presence in Dallas.
