Here goes....we do not showcase players for individual awards. We are a TEAM....always have been, always will be.

Yep. Bama never had that elite "skill" player that stood out. If the Heisman was truly supposed to go to the best overall player in college football, Derrick Thomas would have won it back in '88. Dude had 27 sacks in one season.

you've got it backwards my friend. Bama suppied A&M with Bryant, but it was only a loan. Then to pay the debt, A&M jumped on the Fran grenade just before it blew up. that was mighty white of yall. maybe we do need to share a trophy

Actually when you win a Heisman you get 2 trophies, one for the school and one for you personally. JDC donated his personal trophy to the Bear Bryant museum. A&M has the school trophy.
JDC will be at the game btw, wearing maroon and sitting with Paul Bryant Jr along with most of the living players that played for Bryant at A&M who received the same invite.
