A Timeline of Ole Miss Being Pushed Over the Edge

When you lay it all out there, I suppose I can kind of see how it came to this. Cheating is obviously still wrong, but a little more understandable. Sometimes when you get enough dirt kicked in your face, you just want to fight back any way you can.
2003: In their biggest game of the modern football era, the Rebs come up a center's foot short against LSU. Trev Alberts would call them the runts of college football later that night.
2007, Ed Orgeron blows a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter and gets Croomed in the Egg Bowl, capping off an 0-8 SEC season.
2010: After back to back Cotton Bowls, Ole Miss loses to Jacksonville State at home, with Mark May calling the loss "a fireable offense".
2011: Les Miles goes into the Victory Formation at the goal line with more than 5 minutes remaining.
One week later, Ole Miss drops their 3rd straight Egg Bowl 31-3, capping off another 0-8 SEC record

How was it insulting? Les was in a no win situation. Had he not taken a knee he would have been called out for running up the score.
