Based on what? I am knowledgeable of Nick Saban's Alabama and deeply analytic, but in no way does my life revolve around Alabama football. I haven't been to a game, and my hat is the only thing I sport and own with Alabama on it. Alabama's wins and losses have no lasting effects on my life.

LSU is just recovering from the NFL draft raping them in 2013.

They'll be really good next year. Probably the best defense in the conference and nation.

Near midnight on a Saturday, while Alabama awaits their time to play in the CFB playoffs, an Alabama poster opines their thoughts on LSU's season.

LSU appreciates your continued interest in their program

No No No, my sir, you did not kick Alabama's asss that year, not even close. Now the following game, which resulted in the biggest and most historical melt down for a team that had all the hype for the best team ever and played in a stadium that wasn't but an hour and a half away from their campus for the national title..That was an arse beating.

Wasn't that team a surprise? Who will be the Michael Brockers, Honey Badger, and Brad Wing of this team?

2011 LSU won 12 games by at least 13 points. I don't see 2015 LSU going undefeated even with good quarterback play. Going undefeated in the SEC is a tough feat that requires great playcalling, execution, and limited injuries when it matters.

Seems like the only resort LSU fans can think of. Out of conspiracies, out of whining about the officials, still not over 21-0, and can't get past 4-in-a-row.

Why should I focus my attention on a game that's over a week away? I'm exercising my first amendment rights and am not breaking the Tiger Droppings guidelines while doing such. Sorry if that upsets you and your brethren.

I agree. The offense will be better as well.

Run first, pass second, clock control O, coupled with a great D.

They don't have to go undefeated or blow people away. Just win 10 or 11 and they will be in the mix. Alabama has only gone undefeated in the league once under Saban too. So that's not a necessity.

How did BAMA beat Arkansas again? Oh yeah, you shouldn't have. In all honesty you were lucky to beat LSU as well, since we are talking about what ifs and what should be.

Really you might want to good look at the overall record. 6-4 isn't totally dominating in any sport their friend. By the way Miles has just as many SEC championships as Saban. You're the delusional one.

Upvoted for truth. 11-1 will do it as long as that 1 loss isn't to another 11-1 team.

Saban is 6-3 versus Miles. Congrats on narrowly defeating 2007 Alabama, Saban's least talented team that hadn't bought into his philosophies or developed a winning attitude.

For the record, I was just talking shite in this thread to get a rise out of LSU fans and barely even got a couple nibbles. I think most of know that next year will be a great year for LSU football. You guys should contend for titles if QB play is at least average.

We had a lot to do with this Bama "C" game you speak of. It takes a decent team to hold Bama to 10 with :50 seconds to go.

Not sure if that statement holds water. After losing to Alabama LSU just show up at random. That would be a reflection of the Head Coach. Of course all who play Alabama bring their A game and that is not true of other teams. As Miles said "Alabama has a big Target on their Back". He is right about that.

Yes, we know that. There's a difference between an expectation and realization though. Realizing that LSU could win the West is not the same as expecting that. Let's say LSU does win the SEC. Is an SEC/NC every 4 years what the fans would like to settle for? 2003/2007/2011/2015. 2003 and 2007 caught the breaks needed to compete for a national championship. 2011 did not catch the break needed to win one.

Why suffer through the 3 and 4 loss seasons with the hopes of perhaps winning a national championship every 4 years?

What? With 56 seconds left bama had 235 total.yards of offense.
