Exactly. That was not the case during Chavis' final 6 or 7 years nor is it the case now, why would we want him back?

I actually thought Dooley's program would have progressed further than ot has.

He needs a really strong recruiting class for the next two years and the Vols could be marginally competitive in the SEC East in 2014 or 2015.

I really thought, and let it be known in preseason threads, that they would be much more competitive this year and win the East next year. I am having a hard time seeing them even be competitive again next year. It sucks because I really like Dooley

I did not think we would be competitive without Janzen, Hunter, and Bray. Those were our best three players heading into the preseason by a mile.
