I know right I understand how Bama fans have been defending him, because that is what every fanbase does(besides LSU, where we love a reason to hate our own ) but i imagine yall are gettin tired of him too right?

Imagine, an Auburn fan trying to find something to dislike about a winner. LBU.

Nice to see a fresh new topic on the rant. I bet a part of you died when he got drafted by a team that isn't happy with their QB's production overall.

"This one is all on me" must not be taking blame for a loss. Got it.

“We had a lot of young guys,” McCarron told The Jim Rome Show on Thursday at the Super Bowl’s radio row. “In the end, success was our killer. Too much success and a lot of young guys coming in who didn’t know what it took to get back to that point to win. They thought we’d just show up and we’d win.”

“It’s definitely tough to lose, but it kind of shows when you don’t have everyone buy into one system, one belief, then sometimes a team is going struggle.”

“You have guys who have never played the game of football rating these guys that they are a 5-star, because they’re sitting behind a computer screen watching their highlight film. Well, their highlight film is supposed to be good, the last time I checked. That’s the kind of thing that ticks me off about recruiting and when these kids come in, and they’re 5-stars and they expect to play right off the bat. It’s a little entitlement and when they don’t play off the bat, they get a little ticked off and they don’t want to work.”

Yep. Definitely blaming himself

AJ is and always has been a primadonna.

He had many opportunities this offseason to shoulder the blame(even if it wasn't totally his fault) and show that he was the leader we thought he was, instead he's pointed fingers and come off as person who doesn't hold himself accountable. You don't see star QBs in the NFL doing this.

No you're not. Some of us can't be as vocal because douches like Alahomohunter get all defensive and shite.

I feel like the Alabama fans in this thread missed the point of the thread.

I was addressing the "Saban doesn't care about his players because they are injured" comments.

Our practices are non-contact for the qb, so all of AJ's injuries happened during games. If the training staff asks AJ if he's okay to keep playing and he says he is, are they supposed to keep him off the field anyway?

I think a lot of the Bama players playing through injury is them not telling the coaching staff that they are hurt is that they are afraid of the guy behind them taking their jobs because there is depth that is just as talented at most positions (save qb, obviously).

All of my posts on the Bama board indicate that I'm pretty sick of hearing AJ. It also makes me thankful for Saban's Fort Knox policy regarding players and the media. A lot of stupidity is being covered up by not giving these kids a mic. I think AJ has earned the "Just Shut Up Award," and that has little to do with these comments, but it is a cumulative effect of everything he has said in the offseason.

I didn't even have to try to find it. I wasn't looking to dislike him. I was actually starting to like him until recently

I wonder if he secretly meant he wasn't "mentally healthy" due to playing for Alabama - as in Saban drove him into the ground.

Makes ya think.

I don't think any of those were serious. Just a joke about the HUNH rules and player safety. If they were serious, they were obviously stupid.

AJ is a douchey a-hole and several Bama fans like me admit it.

Do you really need a bunch of threads about it every day? It makes the AJ haters look extremely petty when even Bama fans are saying AJ just needs to STFU for a while and focus on OTAs and training camp.

shite, AJ McCarron was hardly ever sacked, much less hit...

He was sacked a total of 57 times in his career (17 in 2013, 23 in 2012, and 17 in 2011)... 57 sacks in 40 games started... I don't even buy this talk of him saying he was injured. More excuses.

McCarron is a trip. Maybe he'll buck the current Bama QB trend in the NFL. School hasn't had a former QB win an NFL game as a starter since 1987.
