Take it easy on the rebs, man. They're having a rough time. It has to be unsettling to not be able to know who your friends are and who to trust.

I mean, how would you feel if your beloved university was running joint sting operations with the NCAA, trying to catch fans who only wanted to help the school? Scary times indeed

The announcers weren't too kind to treadwell last night.

Paraphrasing from memory -

"You usually wouldn't throw the deep ball to treadwell because he isn't very fast"

"The first down marker was here and that is where the ball was thrown but he just kept going. That is why zimmer doesn't like to play rookies."

This was the real reason Dabo pulled his offer. Gallman had to tell Dabo that Robert wanted to be an underwear model instead of a football player. He preferred being on the bottom of the pile instead of on top. Never seen a more overrated prospect from HS to the Pros. Everyone knew he was a bust except the people getting paid to determine if he was going to be a bust. Talking heads thought he was going #1 overall, maybe worth a 7th round pick.

It just means Freeze won 10 games last year despite his perceived great players being marginal NFL talent.

It means Freeze had to pay marginal players to come to Ol Miss. But seriously, most of them actually have talent but Freeze failed to get them ready for the NFL. Similar to BJ at Tenn. once recruits find out they are hurting their NFL future stock recruiting falls off in a big way. It's no secrete the players were running that team, not Freeze. LT can't run routes, RN will be in Canada in a few years and Tunsil would have gone at least top 3 if he chose any coach besides Freeze. All comes down to piss poor coaching and lack of control over the program. You will never hear those things about a Clemson wideout or a Bama defensive player.

And what has Mullen done?

as it pertains to the NFL and this thread? he coached a QB that's doing pretty well right now, in case you haven't noticed. In fact, Mullen developed two QBs who are starting for probable playoff teams this season, as well as a Heisman trophy winner to boot (2 if you count Cam Newton).

Treadwell blows my mind. Is he really that slow? He destroyed SEC corners that are all producing in the league his whole career. Why is he failing in the NFL?

Is that what i asked?

their success peaked with being a 3 loss Sugar Bowl winner against the 4th best team in the Big 12 last year. They target the "me" guys and cater to them to get them on contract.

what has mullen done?

Did I change my question?

He's a rookie WR in a terrible offensive scheme for WRs.

Way too early for the bust label.

He's slow and can't run routes, which would indicate he isn't putting in the effort. The same "rumors" that started circulating in the spring when he swapped agents.

Maybe he turns it around, but so far every indication points to him not being able to go up against NFL CB's. Which honestly, he struggled with good DB'a in college too, your other receivers ran all over us but Redmond locked Laquon down. You can't overpower and win every matchup with great hands in the NFL, DB's are too good. You have to run perfect routes and you have to be able to create separation.

Speed will limit his potential, but he can still be serviceable. The paradigm of NFL WRs has shifted. Used to be Mike Williams 6'5 235 guys, now it's a Julian Edelman/Antonio Brown quick twitch agile WR league. Would think he needs be a slot guy similar to Larry Fitzgerald has become.

Minnesota is an abortion offensively, he probably in the 24th best passing offense in the NFL with a line that can't pass pro and terrible RBs that put Bradford in poor down and distance. Rookie WRs suck in bad offenses - can't think of single good one.

Bradford is 2nd in the league in completion percentage, and is 6th in the league with 280 completions. One completion is to Treadwell.

Have you watched a Vikings game this year? They have one of the worst offenses in the league.

Nobody is saying Treadwell is good, but lobbying on behalf of Bradford only makes you look ignorant. He and the Vikings suck - ask anyone that follows the NFL.

Coleman is on the god awful Browns who are a mess offensively and don't have a stable Qb and he's doing better than Treadwell...

Ole miss blows. They're back to being the ole miss they've always been and this is before they get hammered by the ncaa and their recruiting sanctions and bowl bans fake effect. They're going to struggle for a long time just to be competitive against middle of the pack sec teams...it's going to get that bad and I don't see ole miss recovering for a long time. You frick with the bull and you get the horns.

And for all of those dumbasses who say well everybody cheats...that's bullshite. Check out LSUs history and the probations we have been on in our entire history. One of our two years on probstion was for a coach buying a player named luther ambrose a catfish poboy at a sandwich shop where they both happened to be. The kid didnt even sign with LSU, he went to ole miss, naturally. We are the cleanest program in the sec besides vanderbilt and are one of the cleanest in the entire country. Our success has come the right way, and it will always be that way. I cant stand cheaters and i am glsd ole miss has whats coming to them soon. Geaux tigers

You sorry bastards
