That is quite impressive!

Another tidbit... (you've probably seen it floating around as well) Every player Saban has signed since LSU, where the player stayed at least 3 years, has at least 1 National Championship Title.

Totally unreal!

Even more mind blowing stats...
The number of Assistant Coaches/Coordinators that have been involved are unreal.

It's a feat in itself to accomplish a National Championship just one time, but 6.....6 times since 2003 at LSU.

I'd say Legendary would best describe it.

Enjoy the ride!

It truly is remarkable. Greatest coach I have ever seen in any sport. Funny thing is, I don't think he is planning on retiring anytime soon.

Blows away anything that any coach in any sport (that's just as competitive) has ever done in the history of sports.

Bruh, take off your homer glasses for a moment.

Yes, Saban is awesome.

But enough with the hyperbole.

John Wooden and Phil Jackson come to mind immediately. I’m sure there are others.

He's a man among boys.

I wish he would try the big men again. Just can't recruit the top class year after year in the NFL.

Like losing to Arkansas AND Kentucky in the same season and still play for a NC?

I do and I'm sure most all of the typical dumbo college coaches wish he would too.

Seriously, do you think he ever gets bored beating all these same guys year after year?

I will give him credit. A few years ago he tossed out an idea about the teams beefing up their schedule by playing a couple more tough teams a year, but the dumbo coaches can't give up their rent a wins that can give them a .500 season and a bowl game.

I admire him for suggesting that.

To do what Saban has done, with the parity within CFB these days, is truly remarkable.

- Stopping complacency
- Being the hunted every game
- Signing good players, with good players already
- Coaching changes yearly
- Barley having heavy senior led teams
- Playing within toughest conference
- 2 Titles in tougher playoff scenario
- Bama's Opponents least penalized ranking
- etc...

Enjoy it Bama fans, nothing like this will last forever, and Bama will compete in future, but repeating this kind of success will be a chore. Shoot, the amount of success Saban has brought Bama nation, has already surpassed anyone's imagination. Bama is playing with house money at this point! These awesome memories will last, and its nice knowing a whole generation of younger Bama fans got to witness domination that resembles what "The Bear" did.

Saban and Bama
Thanks for the awesome memories

The mighty Casey Stengel says wait one second.....

10 AL Championships

7 time WS winner as a manager with 5 in a row....

2 time as a player so 9 total WS championships.

But yes Saban is tGOAT in NCAA football. Better than Bryant.
