We re-entered the AP and Coaches poll this week after a three week absence. You can make the argument that LSU, a team we beat by 30, should be ranked ahead of us, but you can make the argument the other way too
Ross Dellenger at the Baton Rouge Advocate ranked LSU #15 and did not rank MSU at all.

This argument just doesn't work, I'm sorry. But if you're going to say MSU should be ahead of LSU, then what do you do about Auburn?
It is what it is, ultimately it doesn't even matter. The only rankings that matter will be updated Tuesday.

At the end of the day only one thing is for sure. The earlier in the season you lose, the better chance you have of climbing back in.

I'm not arguing against it. I said it could go either way.
But when a writer that graduated from MSU isn't even voting for MSU in the Top 25, we're pushing water up a hill.

I forgot a big win for LSU . 4-4 Syracuse. After Saturday , State will be ranked ahead of LSU and ahead in the SEC standings

Only rankings that matters will be revealed on Tuesday. Plus, it will all be played out by seasons end. These rankings mean nothing more than to get people talking.

I think we are a better team now. No denying y’all were the better team when we played.
But our DLine has gotten healthier and deeper and the offense seems to finally be clicking.

If they played again next week, LSU would win. LSU is a completely different team now that all the players (who were out for the MSU game) are now back and players like Key and Guice are getting back healthy and in shape.
It would be a close game, but LSU would win.
The MSU game was the result of missing a lot of starters and Orgeron meddling with the offense.
