Welcome to Auburn! We hope you guys have a great weekend, of course going home with an loss.

1. This is Toomer's Corner, we role it with Toilet Paper after we win, On the opposite corner of the tree is Toomer's Drugs, who has world famous lemonade

2. Samford Hall, the beautiful administration building of Auburn University

3. Jordan Hare Stadium, the stadium in which you will watch the game, holds 87,451. Truly one of the great atmospheres in college football

4. Shoes: You wear them on your feet for protection. Some places will not serve you in Auburn if you don't wear these, so stock up on groceries (or vittles as you may know them) before you come

5. Electricity: don't worry about this, just make sure you don't stick your fingers, tongue, anything metal, or genitalia in these

6. Teeth: Now I'm sure you guys remember these, you probably even have a few, but in the modern world, we hold on to our teeth through a process called "dental hygiene" which should arrive in your state any decade now

7. Soap: Don't bother, its a good product, but it can't work miracles

8. Running Water and indoor plumbing. This is going to a tough one. If there is a hole in the ground outside, that does NOT mean its okay to use the bathroom there. Try and put your waste in one of these
I really don't know why people are so offended by this. The guy who wrote this is very similar to born again Christians who have recently found their faith. They are simply on fire to tell everyone about it. It's pretty clear this guy just discovered these things and is on fire to tell people the good news of indoor plumbing, electricity, and dental hygiene

Just keep in mind that Alabama is pretty much the buckle of the Bible belt. Homosexual acts are frowned upon, so please keep that inside your hotels/RVs/trailers.

You forgot one.

Leave your goats and sheep at home, you can rent one on campus.

Got to ask. I do not and have never lived in a trailer (mobile home) but why are they considered so bad.
I have seen them advertised on tv and some of these mobile homes look quite nice, and if that is all people can afford, why put it down. Frankly I would be afraid to live in one because of the bad weather we have here in Tuscaloosa, but not because I think I am too good to do so.

Not sure either. Just something for rivals to rag on I guess. My freshman year, I lived in an off-campus apartment. Had a great time, but I decided I wanted to get a dog. Moved into a trailor with a buddy. We had a large fenced-in yard that the dogs had plenty of room to run. After 2 years, I was a bit older and wanted a place of my own. I now had two large dogs, so an apartment wasn't feasible. So, I got another trailor with a fenced in yard and nice large pond out back that the dogs could play in. I actually really enjoyed my time there because you had privacy, didn't hear footsteps on the floor above you, and could landscape your yard the way you wanted. Plus, you could get all of this for $600 a month.

I don't think one time during those four years my neck got any redder, or I started pulling for Jr. in Nascar. I didn't swap my SUV for a truck, develop a knack for Copenhagen, or even Budweiser. I graduated, got married, had a kid, and live in what I consider to be a very nice house in a nice part of town.

Just my rant for the day...

Actually picked up the habit when I was in the Army, although it is widely accepted in the Wiregrass area...
