I look forward to watching the adverse effect he will have on Bama's program. This hire is a reflection of the irrational, emotional overreaction that the end of last season had on Saban. The fact that Bama fans seem OK with it is laughable.

A Few Questions Regarding Alabama's Treatment

Cumulonimbus

Let me ask you this:

Auburn loses their last two games of the year, loses their 3 year starting QB, changes offensive coordinator, and moves up to #2 in the preseason polls. Would you call that being slighted?

This sums it up and ties a ribbon around it pretty nicely, though the Skoaldogs still don't get it.

Conversely, LSU won their last 2 games of the year, loses their 2 year starting QB, goes into second year with OC Cam Cameron, and drops to #13 in preseason poll.

I remember when I was so spoiled that a 10=11 win season felt like a losing one. Then tdecline happened....

It's not like Doug was great; Alabama struggled or lost when the offense wasn't doing well and Doug contributed heavily to that.

If only there was someone on your coaching staff that could have corrected his poor performance...you know, like a head coach or someone like that.

When will we ever be treated fairly? It's so hard to be a gump.

1. Has Ohio State received much derision for their 0-2 finish? They're a historical program that was on a 24 game winning streak, albeit against garbage competition. Where's all the media and teasing for Ohio State? Why does Alabama just get this treatment?

Unjustified Preseason #2... STFU!

2. Regarding Alabama's quarterback struggles, why is LSU thought of as the only team that can win double digit games without consistently good quarterback play? LSU won 10 or more games from 2010-2012 without having quarterback play that was consistently good quarterback play.

3. On that note, why do some of you have Alabama losing 3 or more games in the regular season?

because they might lose 3 or more

Oh my God for real? Every swinging dick has Alabama picked #2 in every freaking preseason pole and picked playing in the playoffs. I have not read one article that says Alabama is losing 3 or more games this year. Take a chill pill and let the season play out and best pray just like we are that you have a QB that can step up.
