You young guys just don't realize the clout Bama has over the other SEC teams, and it's unfair.
If LSU has Bama's clout, Cannon's TD at Tenn in 1959 is registered instead of called down at the one yard line, after being pushed backwards from forward momentum into the endzone..another LSU National Title that wasn't at LSU.
If LSU has Bama's or Notre Dame's clout, the 1969 team gets to the Cotton Bowl, possibly wins the national title, as many called them that year's best team, and by far the best defense.
Etc..
No SEC review booth ref, should be from Hoover and yet work the Bama booth. He shouldn't have a book named by a Bear quote. No unbiased and self-respecting SEC ref should listen to a radio show as biased as Finebaum(I do, but I'm a fan, and a gambler), or have a picture of the two together. That is Mickey Mouse comically bad, and minor league in nature. Totally unprofessional.

we had a chance fricking stolen from us against the #2 team. trying to reason with how many yards we had is garbage as well bc in a one score game any fricking thing could happen.

Here is where you are going wrong.....IT ONLY TAKES 1 PLAY, 1 MISSED TACKLE, 1 TIPPED BALL, 1 BLOCK, and 7 points are on the scoreboard.
Thats the problem with the INT-no call.
Bama would be praised Sunday morning for winning the game 21-15, Tiger's fans and players would still be sore, and yall would still be in Atlanta but at least you'd know and Tiger fans would know you won when all the cards where on the table.
I don't know if JL could have mounted a drive from the 37 to score on your great defense, but I do know LSU had a knack for finishing games under Les Miles. And all he wanted was an opportunity for his team. LSU deserved that opportunity as much as Bama deserved the opportunity to stop them and EARN THEIR TITLE.
So enjoy your day by the water cooler, get a hotel in Atlanta, be proud of the fact that you have a legit Heisman candidate for once in you football's history..........BUT don't come on a messageboard and spew a meaningless stat because the intergrity of your victory is in question.
No one is saying LSU would have scored, NO ONE! NO ONE IS SAYING BAMA didn't play a GREAT football game, all they are saying is we(both Bama and LSU) were stripped of a GREAT FINISH!

Probably the same reason why some gumps, including you, still whine about the non-pass interference call in 2004. Bama had 196 yards total offense and EIGHT first downs for the entire game and lost 26-10 but the gump whining continues. So to answer your question, I like LSU's chance at midfield with a six point deficit much more than bama's chances in 2004. Bama was also issued an apology by the SEC after that game. I believe some midol and tampoms were given out too.
Also if you want to go back in time, then go back to 99 when Josh Booty got tackled at the goal line and the clock ran out after the referees signaled to stop it. Yeah this happened at bama. There was a season ending injury to a bama player on that play. The clock should have stopped, but it didn't. The pussy referees just ran off the field. LSU should have had at least one more play with a six point deficit on bama's one yard line.
Maybe we still wouldn't have won, but we at least deserve an apology from the SEC for that debacle Saturday. It would have been the noble thing to do, but Slive and co. are a bunch of chickenshites.

Easy to say for a fan of the school that could probably count their Football SEC officiating bad beats of the past 100 years, on two hands.
LSU, of the SEC Gridiron Heavyweight Club(Bama, Tenn, LSU, Fla, UGA, etc..) I assure is the low man on the totem-pole, and absorbs more of these hosejobs than do the rest. My father mentioned this to me as a kid. And I'll be damned if it hasn't happened in my lifetime too.
And if you read this site, you'll note, I'm not one of the P&G Glassed nor the LSU HC Sunshine Pumpers. As a gambler, I'm fairly impartial and call it on the square..even when LSU is the gifted one of a bogus call.

I'm convinced. Just look at what LSU did with the possession after the refs stole the game for Bama. Everyone knew da Tigahs were poised for a takedown on Bama.
LSU wins the game if the refs don't muff the PI call.

Here's the problem with your argument for "Letting it go." You bring up a comparison, thereby showing that you HAVEN'T "let it go" and then berate LSU fans for being upset about a call that happened TWO days ago, as opposed to 5 YEARS ago. Add into the conversation that this game had a hell of a lot more riding on it and you can see the natural resistance to "letting it go."
But in the end, it will have to be let go b/c no amount of bitching will change the outcome now. I understand your desire to have this issue go away as it is now tarnishing your team's victory, but you need to be a bit more patient. Ok?

ever heard of a blown coverage you dumb frick? maybe a missed tackle? i seem to remember bama missing a tackle on ridley so i guess one of those could happen and bust a big play. yea but you are right bc we did nothing on our possesion before that we didn't deserve the chance. also bama would just bend over and take what the sec gives them if they get fricked over.
