Still kinda amazing that despite the last 2 weeks, Bama is still #1 in scoring defense and 49 yards from being 1st in total defense.
Why is that amazing? You played your first 2 real games of the season in the last 2 weeks. Miss St was garbage and Michigan is a 4-loss team.

We can't always play a Towson to pad our stats.
Posted on 11/13/12 at 1:10 pm to Alahunter
who needs Towson when you can have UT every year?

Oregon would likely put up 600+ yards of offense against that shite-tastic defense

That was a quick transition to being afraid of playing Fla every year.

True.. but you can always play West Carolina, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, Tennessee and Mizzou.
Dat schedule. It's honestly the weakest schedule I can remember a BCSCG contender having.. ever..

Probably. And Lsu has shown that yards = points and wins.

Already forgot last year and getting to play Lsu's offense twice?

Your schedule was soft last year and it's even worse this year.

Last 3 games, with the same 2-1 records, involving the same teams (A&M, MSU, and each other)
1092 yards 57 points Team A
1109 yards 53 points Team B
Which team's defense is which?!?

They still play Ohio St.. and they have almost zero chance of winning that game

This isn't about LSU or our shite-tastic offense that looked like the New England Patriots going against that vaunted Bama D. This thread is about how bad the Bama D really is, which is pretty fricking bad

Has anyone asked these LSU fans what its like to lose to a shittastic defense?
Posted on 11/13/12 at 1:27 pm to TreyAnastasio
It isn't fun, I know that much

Not gonna lie. I didn't see these last two weeks coming because of how well Alabama has played this year. But don't get it twisted, this year was supposed to be ALLLLL LSU with Bama losing too much on D to get back to the NC. Idk about the rest of the fans but I'm happy with where Alabama is right now. And that place is firmly ahead of LSU. Now just close the season strong and have AJ come back so we can do this right next year
LSU was hampered by too many early injuries and lost players. Also, it doesn't help that the offense started the season so inconsistent and slow.
You can't predict injuries and suspensions, plus you don't who's all leaving your team next year. I know that O-line is taking at least 2 hits, and that's the strength of the offense. AJ McCarron is a little beat up, but he didn't perform greatly against the 2 great teams he faced. There are a lot of questions surrounding your team next season, but the same can be said for anyone. Several have called your 2013 schedule easy, but it might actually be harder. We don't know how much better the teams on your schedule will be next year. A few teams on your schedule could be considerably better next season.
