Look, LSU isn't a basketball school. Neither is Arkansas. I can admit it if you can admit it.

You really think thats a fair comparison?

We have finished top 20 in attendance over the last 20 years every single year. With that number being heavily skewed by recent years.

How does that not put us in the conversation?

Why do you deny Arkansas being a basketball school? Are they not as relevant as LSU is to football? Hogs climbed to glory in the 90s in basketball, LSU was finally noticeable in football during the 90s.

Hell, LSU would get mentioned more because of Shaq and Pete.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis was a fairly popular guy coming out after 2006 as well. LSU is Top 15 in terms of schools and number of players in the NBA to start this season.

What's fun is schools comparing their best few seasons in school history to our worst decade and not realizing the irony.

Ok? Why are you upset at the fact yall are not viewed as a basketball school? If you had people list who they think of for NCAA basketball, this is about how it would go

UNC
DUKE
UK
SYRACUSE
MICH
MICH ST
OSU
UCLA
UF
NCST
kANSAS
Temple
St.Johns
Georgetown
Unlv
Indiana
Louisville
Arizona
Texas
Cincy
Uconn
Villanova

well hell LSU gymnastics had over 17K fans at their last meet. I don't think that means everyone in the country knows of LSU gymnastics. Those were LSU fans at the meet.

Also, see belles comment. I haven't clicked her link though.

That's real funny considering how piglets on this board would gloat showing that Shaq never bear Arkansas in his college career.

Arky is 35 in all time wins for basketball with one national title

LSU is 15 with three national titles in football

Let LSU hold onto the rope, they have a couple more seasons until their natty is 10 years old
You're really making fun of LSU for having a 10 year old championship when you are hanging on to one from 20 years ago.

Two good seasons ('94/'95) does not make you a basketball school, and that is exactly what Arkansas had.
