I could see that happening pretty easily. Charlotte without the banking industry or economic activity.

Can't even visit for a game without being shot in the neck. She is in critical condition and this is a part of Columbia they try to keep safe. It's a tourist spot and super scale restaraunts and shopping.

Well a visiting Kentucky fan shot in the neck is pretty newsworthy to me and should be mentioned. It happened in the Vista area of Columbia which is shocking on its on

I try to avoid Columbia if at all possible. Honestly it's getting worse in the upstate with the tsunami of meth.

I steer clear of the Vista now. There was another shooting back over the summer pretty close to where this one took place. If I drink late night, I just hit up Night Caps on Devine.

They ran them off from one area, they took to five points, ran them off from there and now they're infesting the Vista.

This gang bullshite is stupid as frick. Move to goddamn Detroit if you want the real experience, dumbfricks.

The city has a gang problem. The gang violence in Columbia is committed solely by one demographic. There is zero political will to stop it because of the city's large black population. It's sad because the city has undergone vast aesthetic and cultural improvements over the last decade, both on campus and throughout downtown.

Yep. I basically just go to Henry's or Night Caps if I'm going out anymore. Sheriff Lott has offered his help with the gang problem if Benjamin and the Columbia PD want it, but it really seems like they just don't give a frick. They're more interested in turning the state house grounds into a playground and putting in stupid shite like a beach at Finley Park. I live downtown and I love it, but our city government is corrupt as shite and no one in the city gives a good god damn.
