Quick hi-jack, was watching Saints game with my 9 yr old son mon., all of a sudden he blurts out Roll Tide Roll. I'm like WTF, guess the gump relatives spent too much time brainwashing him over thnxgiving. Should I be worried?

Well don't beat the kid. Being your son, I'm sure you will instill the LSU tradition in him. My suggestion to outdo the "gump" relatives he's got, take him to as many LSU games as you can. If it's his grandparents that are the Alabama fans, you may have some trouble. Worst case scenario, he grows up liking us both.

Well they have guest announcers on ESPN/CBS on the lead up shows all the time. How awesome would it be to have an SEC coach that already played the favored team and is due to play them again? That would be good TV.

Yeah the relatives were peeing their pants when I told them, they said they are sending him some Crimson NC gear in Jan. He had his first game in TS this year for KY, I'm working on it

I've got a two year old daughter that thinks any football team on tv is Auburn. I can be watching the Falcons and Vikings, she walks up and goes "Yay, Auburn's on...War Eagle". I've tried to tell her that it isn't Auburn, but she just cuts me off and tells me I'm wrong.

Well when it comes to NC gear, your son is in the best shape. You and your family have a Merry Christmas.

ESPN has pretty much sealed our place in the big game and they are just bringing Saban in to put a cherry on top of it.

At least she loves your team.

CFB has nothing to do with parenting, but it's gotta give you a sense of accomplishment when your kids adopt that sense of tradition.

My mother has tried her best to get her pulling for UGA, but has failed up to this point. It'll be an ongoing battle.

I wore my Alabama Nike Jacket to the last manager's meeting. Just to spite.

My fiance' is an UGA fan and graduate. If I don't cheer for them and take her to some of their games, I'm in the doghouse. It's just not worth the fight. It's much easier for her, because all she has to do is buy red sundresses. Works for both.

Sounds like you have your hands full if she's like my daughter, hardheaded. Glad you have her interested in the game!

Glad this is national news.

Everyone should be reminded that he is watching his conference championship game instead of playing in it.

Maybe he's really wanting to go to the Coca-Cola Museum?
