He should have played WR but the QB position was so bad he was stuck at his position.

Future 10-year NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was in the QB room and should have been given a chance to be the starter and move Jones to WR

the tipoff should have been that Jones (while demonstrating attitude problems every year) refused to show any progress at all in understanding passing progression - phenomenal athlete and embarrassingly pathetic QB in regards to basic fundamentals.

Todd Blackledge called him out for being a Primadonna and Blackledge was correct.

Quarterbacked Arkansas through some crazy games, too. 7 OT win vs Ole Miss. 7 OT win vs Kentucky. 6 OT loss at Tennessee. The Miracle on Markham. He beat Texas in Austin.

He was a really fun player to watch. No telling how could he could have been with a different coach.

You could have won alot of money off me betting that guy ever ran a 4.38 40 at the actual NFL combine and had a 39.5" vertical

They're not comparable at all.

The original Cam and you would have a point. Both long strided.

As I remember it, OU was making a strong push for Jones. Nutt promised him he could play QB if he came to AR.
