It's probably a "don't get hurt the game is already won and you can't win the heisman this year" campaign

The one thing Les could give the fanbase. Denied.

not just the fanbase

it's good for the program.. great visibility, recruiting tool, makes him a clear-cut heisman front runner (again), etc.

but then again les has pulled him in every single game in which he was close to breaking the LSU single game rushing record

And if Miles had left him in and LF blew his knee out, y'all would be waiting for him at the airport with pitchforks and torches.

No sense in having him have a career ending injury like Prothro or blowing out a knee and possibly missing most or all of next season.

I think LF would rather sign for millions than run for 2000 yds. 47 yards is meaningless at this point in time.

Those things are nice, but not worth getting any injury.

It's called keeping him hungry and playing team ball.

This isn't Georgia, where Mark Richt, the artist formerly known as Georgia's head football coach, left Nick Chubb in for a meaningless rushing record against Alabama while they were getting blown out.

you think any player out there gives a frick about possibly getting hurt late in the game? i've never met a competitor that was afraid of getting hurt. harris was out on the field at the end. what if he got hurt? we'd be even further up shite creek than if LF7 went down

sorry, it's a shite excuse.. up two possessions with 2:09 to go in the 4th against auburn henry was still in the game and ran 4 straight times for 39 yards.. up 41-23 against TAMU with 3:26 remaining rushed for 30 yards on 4 carries.. up 30-16 vs LSU with 3:40 Henry rushed for 59 yards on 5 carries.. up 14 against Florida with 1:30 remaining Henry carried 3 straight times..

He straight up got pulled from the Auburn and South Carolina games at the end of the third quarter. He also had a game cancelled.

He had 2200+ yards rushing and receiving in only 12 games.

Les Miles doesn't give a shite apparently.

Everybody knows you're right about this one, Yates. Ridiculous that Leslie didn't let the guy run against that gassed, weak D a couple more times. He deserved that.

He pulled him because there was risk LF7 would crap his britches. Didn't want to embarrass him on national TV.
