Everyone knows, at least around Louisiana, if your going to plan something in the fall it better not be on a home game weekend for LSU. This wasn't and everyone planned weddings, Halloween party's, trips, etc. really not that hard to figure out

Wow,a GT trolling another fan base about attendence?

That's rich, coming from fan base that can't sell out a 55k stadium unless UGA,Clemson or FSU fans fill it up.

Season tix holder but I have to work. Didn't plan on this being a home game. They'll have 50K by kickoff.

Yep.....which is more than Miami drew in their home opener and more than actually showed up for the Nebraska game a few weeks ago - 2 games that had been on the calendar for years.

Now consider the Metro Baton Rouge population of 800,000 to the Metro-Miami population of 6 million.

Lots of wedding today that I know of. We plan around the home games. I also know of atleast 20 people that are dedicating this weekend to fixing up the hunting camp. People made other plans. A lot of fans come from outside southlouisiana

So all the lips service of love you people pay on here is just that - lip service. The money from tickets was suppose to go help those in need. But your previous plans are... more important.

False. The money from ticket sales will go to the SC athletic department.

So you can kindly get off your soapbox.

It's a South Carolina home game. LSU students aren't given any special consideration. I don't believe so, anyway.

Either way, in two days LSU almost filled the equivalent of Davis Wade.

I'm not much of a trash talker, but I do feel sorry for Georgia fans. With all that fan support your team still under performs year after year. Aside from 35 years ago when you had Hershel, you haven't much amounted to anything. Heck, we have won a National Championship more recently than you. Georgia is basically in line with Arkansas and South Carolina. Lots of fans and expectations, but disappointments year after year.

Those numbers work out of town as well.

I just spoke with a young lady in the office. She said you could absolutely purchase a ticket for someone else and they could pick it up at will call.

I asked about the ticket proceeds she said they were going to help the people of South Carolina, she didn't say anything about reimbursing USC for losing a home game.

So here's your chance - and you can do it while you're out of town.

Judging by this excellent prose,I very much doubt you went to Tech.

So,why did you start a post trolling an entire fan base about not selling out a game when they only had 3 days notice?

Not even close.Since 2000,we're top 10 in wins,bowl game victories,2 SECC,5 SECG's,and 7 top 10 finishes.Neither of those schools comes close.

Everyone plans around LSU games around here, so tons of weddings, parties, etc. on away/off game weekends. I was surprised 40k went tbh.
